Tony Ramirez

            Funeral service for Tony Ramirez, age 55, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the Orr Gray Gish Chapel with Rev. Fr. Joseph David, pastor of Saint Helen’s Catholic Church, officiating.

            Mr. Ramirez passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, in Frederick, Oklahoma.

            Rosary and visitation will be 6:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.

            Burial will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home.

            He was born July 1, 1967, in Hobart, Oklahoma, to E. Joseph and Mary Ann (Coronado) Ramirez. He attended Frederick schools and graduated Frederick High School with the Class of 1985. Tony worked as a machine operator at Schlegel Manufacturing, now Henniges. He moved to Houston, Texas, and worked as a restaurant waiter/server. He returned to Frederick in 2020. Tony was extremely creative and enjoyed art drawing. He loved R & B music.

            He was preceded in death by his father, both his maternal and paternal grandparents; and two sisters: Rosemary  (Ramirez) Tovar, and Cynthia Michelle Ramirez.

            He is survived by his mother: Mary Ann Ramirez, of Frederick, Oklahoma; three sisters: Terri Lynn Gagne (David), of Katy, Texas, Victoria Jowell (Ronnie), of Richmond, Texas, and Margarita Ramirez, of Houston, Texas; two brothers: Richard Ramirez (Tammy), of Geronimo, Oklahoma, and Tom Ramirez (Debra), of Longmont, Colorado; several aunts, uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

            Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Helen’s Catholic Church, 507 E. Highview, Frederick, OK 73542, in loving memory of Tony Ramirez.
