Funeral service for Tony G Flores, age 74, of Lawton, Ok, formerly of Frederick, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Restoration Church, with Bro. Johnny Flores and Pastor Mario Zammaron, Primera Iglesia Bautista de Lawton, Ok, officiating.

Mr. Flores passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025, in Lawton, Ok. Burial will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

He was born on August 29, 1950, to Frank O. Flores Sr. and Josephine (Gonzales) Flores in Frederick, Ok. He attended Frederick Public Schools but did not complete his high school education due to going to work to provide for his family. He began working for John McCullough in the 1970s where he worked for many years. Not only was John his boss but also became one of Tony’s close friends. In the 1980s, Tony began working with Russell Henry who also became a close friend of Tony’s. He would work for various companies as a mechanic the next thirty years before opening his own shop in 2010, called Tony’s Auto Repair. He continued working even into retirement until January 2025, when he became ill. Tony was always willing to help people with their vehicle and get them back on the road.

On December 22, 1972, he married Mary Helen Brown and to this union, three children were born: Brandee, Anthony, and Chad Flores. He later married Inona Faylene on January 20, 2006. With this marriage, he gained two more daughters Rachel McCormick and Robyn Hinson. To his surprise, in November 2014, his youngest daughter Kaylin was born. Tony loved all four of his children, grandchildren and his two step-daughters. They were the light of his world.

Tony was well known for his quick wit and humor and off the wall funny remarks. You never knew just what would come out of his mouth. Many times, his children’s friends would hang out at their house just to talk to Tony and laugh and have a great time.

Besides his children and grandchildren, his greatest accomplishment in his life was the day he accepted Christ as his personal Savior; and on January 30, 2022, he was baptized. He lived his final days loving the Lord and doing God’s work being very active at Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana De Lawton in Lawton, Ok.

He is survived by his wife: Inona Faylene, of the home; his daughters: Brandee Flores and companion Rafael Montes, of Oklahoma City, Ok, and Kaylin Browder, of Lawton, Ok; his step-daughter: Robyn Hinson, of Lawton, Ok; his sons: Anthony and wife Christine Flores, of Apache, Ok, and Chad Flores and his partner Jack Polachek, of Dallas, Tx; his grandsons: Tyler and wife Delynna Flores, of Calumet, Ok, Matthew Flores and his companion Audrey Stone, of Chickasha, Ok, and Keith Flores and his companion Haley Barnes, of Apache, Ok, his granddaughter Cheyenne Flores and companion Brandon Johanntoberns, of Apache, Ok; his great-grandchildren: Bodhi and Sagelynn Flores, of Calumet, Ok; and two great-grandsons, both due in August 2025; his brothers: Danny and wife Mary Flores, Jessie and wife WeDonna Flores, Cecil and wife Pauline Flores, and Ezekiel and wife Connie Flores, all of Frederick, Ok; his sisters: Lisa and husband Tony Noyola and Molly Chandler of Frederick, Ok, and Nina and husband Rob Ybanez, of Edmond, Ok; his sisters-in-law: Glenda and Barbara Flores, and brother-in-law: Armondo Ramos, all of Frederick, Ok; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Frank O. Flores Jr., and Louis Flores; and two sisters: Mary Guiterrez and DelFina Ramos and his step-daughter Rachel McCormick.
