Memorial service for Paul Gabriele will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Orr Gray Gish Chapel. There will be a private family inurnment at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery.
Paul Steven Gabriele, of Noble, Oklahoma, passed away suddenly Tuesday morning February 17, 2025, at the age of 61. He was currently employed at NCED, postal training center in Norman, Oklahoma, as an instructor since August 2025. He was previously employed at Amarillo Post Office Distribution Center for two and a half years. In the workplace, he was known for his knowledge and a supportive and kind coworker. He worked at Fort Sill as a fire finder, radio and patrol radar instructor for almost 40 years. He made a lot of wonderful friends there.
He graduated from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma, with an associate degree in electronics in 1985. He loved fishing at “his mountains” at Jed Johnson and Rush Lake. His wife was his fishing buddy. They loved spending every precious moment they could together. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his beloved wife D’Ann, whom he affectionately called ‘Sweetie,’ and he never missed an opportunity to talk about her and their life together. On April 10th this year, they would have celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary.
In addition to his wife D’Ann (Duncan) Gabriele of the home in Noble, Oklahoma, he is survived one son: Matthew Gabriele and wife Shianne of Frederick, Oklahoma; a brother: David Gabriele of Lawton, Oklahoma; a sister: Debbie Dawson and husband Carl of California; a sister-in-law: Dena Northcutt of Frederick, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: David and Barbara (Rooney) Gabriele; and his mother and father-in-law: Jack and Claudine Duncan.
