            Family and friends gathering with visitation for Nola Mae Rowe will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2022, at the Burkhardt Chapel of the Frederick Memorial Cemetery, Frederick, Oklahoma. Burial will follow under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home, of Frederick.

            Nola Mae Rowe was born July 22, 1935, in Iowa Park, Texas, to Willie Rowe Sr. and Hazel Haney Rowe. She grew up in Frederick and attended Kennedy Elementary and Boyd High School. She moved to Electra, Texas, and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Wichita Falls, Texas. She married Isiah McDaniel (preceded her in death) and briefly lived in California.

            She joined First Baptist Church of Frederick at an early age and loved singing in the choir. She later joined 1st Pilgrim Valley Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas, where she also sang in the choir and loved spending time with the Pastor and the members.

            She worked for Betsy Bra, Kellwood, Ryder, and Aviall in Frederick. She retired in 2000, from Dallas Airmotive in Dallas, Texas, after 20+ years of service.

            Her hobbies were cooking, sewing, fishing, bowling, singing, and dancing. She also loved spending time with her grandkids. She was a very good card player and loved to play cards and talk noise. She also loved to travel with her niece, Venitia Adams. They went on a cruise to Jamaica, bust trips with the YMCA Seniors, and many card parties with friends in Dallas, Texas, Shreveport, Louisiana, and Jackson, Mississippi.         

            She leaves to cherish her memory: three children: Shari Rowe Mims of Hurst, Texas, Donnie Rowe, of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Billy W. Rowe of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren: Tyron K. Rowe, Oklahoma City, Lavette M. Lake (Tony) of Desoto, Texas, Felisha N. Rowe of Hurst, Texas, Donnie L. Rowe (Tiffany) of Columbus, Georgia, Dusty Hickerson, of Electra, Texas, Devin Ritter, of Carrollton, Texas, and Dylan Rowe, of Dallas, Texas; four great grandchildren: Lalla S. Garrison, of Desoto, Texas, Traevin K. Hernandez, of Kansas, Deliah Rowe, of Dallas, Texas, and Luna Alberto, of Dallas, Texas; two brothers: Jerry Rowe (Ella Mae) of Jackson, Mississippi, and Henry Rowe, of Lawton, Oklahoma; one sister: Betty J. Green (Ben) of Apple Valley, California; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.

            Preceding her in death are her parents: Willie and Hazel Rowe; daughter Gloria Monisha Rowe; her sister: Louise Driver; four brothers: Willie Rowe Jr., Terry Rowe, Horace Rowe, and Robert Wallace, and a son-in-law: Roy Dale Mims.
