            Funeral service for Nancy Cordova, age 60, of Frederick, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the Orr Gray Gish Chapel.

            Nancy passed away Friday, January 14, 2022, at her home. Burial will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery. The family will gather and receive friends at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

            She was born April 6, 1961, to Juan Cordova and Florentina (Lopez) Garcia, in Greeley, Colorado. She moved with her family to Frederick in 1968. Nancy attended Frederick schools and graduated from Frederick High School with the class of 1979. She moved to Dallas, Texas, and worked for Texas Instruments for 25 years. She returned to Frederick to be a Caregiver to her mother Tina and brother Joel. She loved to travel, visit with friends, family and read. She had a quick wit and funny sense of humor. She was a kind loving person with a big generous heart. She was a wonderful friend and had a real impact on those who knew her. She will be missed so much.

            She was preceded in death by her mother: Florentina “Tina” Garcia; her father: Juan Cordova; and her brother: Joel Cordova.

            Survivors include her son: Nathan Perez, of the home in Frederick; two brothers: Daniel Cordova and wife Donna, of Austin, Texas, and Gabriel Cordova and wife Laura, of Vernon, Texas; two nephews: Jason Cordova, of Lubbock, Texas, and Nick Cordova, of Beaufort, South Carolina; a niece: Kaydee Cordova, of Possum Kingdom, Texas; and numerous cousins.
