Monica Michelle Noyola Bowman, age 44, of Frederick, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, June 17 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Monica was born on December 13, 1980 as the second child of Antonio & Lisa Noyola. She was united in marriage with Christopher Bowman on September 12, 2009.
Between reading her books and keeping the family on their toes, she was most known for her very real and fiery presence. Her presence didn’t light up a room; a more accurate description would be that her presence felt like a wildfire. She would smile as big as ever, regardless of how she felt, when talking about her boys and husband. She was so proud of them and loved them more than words can express. You would often find her in her favorite place, her living room with Chris, Tanner, and Trentan each doing their respective hobbies. Her hobbies ranged from reading romance to making tinctures and loaves of sourdough.
When she wasn’t at home, you could find her spending time with family, going to Whataburger at 3am, or in Dr. Howard’s office. The office working with “Doc” is where her God-given gift of serving others was easiest to see. She did everything she could to help her patients with a smile and joyous spirit.
To her family, she would do anything for those she loved. She went with us to coffee dates, family meals, ER visits or just to drive around and talk. Also, she was definitely a daddy’s girl. Their relationship was so special. She always wanted to be there to support her people and she made a point to do that in her own unique way.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher, her sons: Tanner and Trentan; her parents: Antonio and Lisa Noyola; two sisters: Roxanne and husband Roger Hill, Angelica and husband Brandon Hurta; one brother: Jacob Noyola; three nieces: Makenna Hill, Raegan Hill, and Braylee Hurta; one nephew: Andrew Hurta, all of Frederick, OK; Mother-in-Law, Kathy Hubbard of Atkins, AR; Grandfather, Tomas Noyola of Dallas, TX; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Frank Flores, Josephine Flores and Camelia Bueno Noyola, father-in-law: Michael Hubbard.
Please join the family for a Celebration of Life Ceremony and catered lunch, to be held at First Baptist Church in Frederick, OK on Saturday, June 28th at 12 PM.
