Marc Avery Trusty

            Funeral service for Marc Avery Trusty, age 56, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2019, at the Orr Gray Gish Chapel with Mike Haverland, minister of the 13^th & Josephine Church of Christ, officiating.

            Mr. Trusty passed away Tuesday morning, November 19, 2019, at his home. Burial will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral Home.

            He was born July 6, 1963, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to Marc Taylor and Nina (Avery) Wilkerson. He grew up and attended Frederick schools, graduating with the Class of 1981. He was united in marriage to Joni Beth Walden on October 6, 1990, in Fort Worth, Texas. Marc worked in construction in the family business (Avery Construction) for 15 years. He has worked as a truck driver for the past 16 years, most recently for Indian River Transport. He enjoyed watching football, but his real passion was driving a truck. He loved what he did and continued to work even when his health begin to fail. He loved his family and always looked forward to time spent with his kids and grandkids all together. He was a member of the 13^th & Josephine Church of Christ.

            He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Elton and Jo Anna Avery; his paternal grandparents: Ernest and Doshie Taylor; and his mother: Nina Avery Wilkerson.

            Survivors include his wife: Joni, of the home in Frederick; four children: Tiffany Williams, of Altus, Blake Trusty and wife Timber, of Frederick, Tyler Marc Walden and wife Brittney, of Fort Knox, Kentucky, and Tory Welch, of Frederick; two brothers: Michael Trusty and wife Juntra, of Missouri, and Randy Trusty and wife Annabelle, of Denton, Texas; his father: Marc Taylor, of San Antonio, Texas; 8 grandchildren: Steven Williams, Jack Williams, Tesa Fleming, Olivia Williams, Tenley Welch, Tyler Walden Jr., Taylen Walden, Cayler Welch and one baby boy “Tater” on the way.

            Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home in care of the family in loving memory of Marc A. Trusty.
