Lee Ann Kirkpatrick

Graveside service for Lee Ann Kirkpatrick, age 92, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Les Banks officiating.

Mrs. Kirkpatrick passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at a Lawton, Oklahoma, hospital.

Burial is under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home.

She was born January 7, 1932, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to Frank and Pauline (Shouse) Gower. She attended Frederick schools and graduated from Frederick High School with the Class of 1950. She was united in marriage to James Max Kirkpatrick on July 29, 1950, in Frederick. She worked beside her husband in all their endeavors. They farmed and ranched, and they owned and operated Fryer’s Mobil Station, (later Kirk’s Mobil), for 41 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: James Max Kirkpatrick, on June 16, 2008; and a brother: Bob Gower.

She is survived by a daughter: Kim Kirkpatrick; and a son: Kyle Kirkpatrick, both of Oklahoma City; nieces, nephews and cousins.
