Kevin Russell Lavin

On Dec. 19, 2019, Kevin Lavin, loving son of Margaret and Ronald Lavin, passed away after a long battle with rare medical conditions. Kevin is survived by his loving parents and his extended family all over the country. Kevin was born in Santa Monica, CA, and grew up in Gilbert, AZ where he attended Edu-Prize Elementary, San Tan Charter School, and Arizona State University Preparatory Academy. Kevin was known as a kind and cheerful friend, a hardworking and gifted student, and a Christian teen who loved Jesus Christ with his whole heart.  Kevin loved playing piano, telling funny stories, and enjoying the simple things in life.   He loved his precious goldfish and bunny, spending time with his family and friends, and enjoying his many hobbies.  He was upbeat and cheerful, courageous and brave, and patiently hopeful, through his many health issues.  Although gone from our presence, he lives free of suffering for all eternity in the presence, loving care, and protection of God, and in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.    Services will be held 1PM on Sat Dec. 28, 2019, at Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home in Frederick OK. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Jeffrey Modell Foundation, www.info4pi.org, or to Compassion International, www.compassion.com.
