Juanita L. Washburn, age 72, of Hollister, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at a Lawton hospital.
Private family memorial service will be held at a later time.
She was born August 26, 1949, in Grandfield, Oklahoma, to Melvin Allison Harrison and Mary Jewel (Williams) Draken. She attended school in Burkburnett, Texas. She was united in marriage to Buddy Washburn on February 15, 1968, in Frederick. She attended cosmetology school and worked as a beautician for many years. She lived in Burkburnett, Devol and Hollister. She was also a homemaker. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Thomas Allison Harrison and Harlan Lee Harrison.
She is survived by her husband: Buddy, of the home in Hollister; three sons: Allen Collins, Hollister, James Washburn (Becky), of Byers, Texas, and John Washburn (Lara), of Burkburnett, Texas; two daughters: Mendi Washburn, Hollister, and Miracle Mills (Lee White), of Frederick; three brothers: Robert Harrison, of Frederick, Eddie Harrison (Lucy), of Cleburne, Texas, and Terry Drake, of Washington state; a sister Jerry Harrison, of Burkburnett; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
