Jerry was born in Benkelman, Nebraska and passed from this earth at the age of 63 in Graham, Texas.  He was a faithful member of the Oak Street Baptist Church.   Jerry was a fire fighter for most of his life having started as a volunteer with the Tipton Oklahoma fire department soon out of high school and then spending 30 years with the Graham Texas fire department, the last 5 of which he was Fire Chief.  He was also an EMT. Jerry lived a life of service.  Helping his friends and neighbors was one of his greatest joys.  He loved to visit and genuinely wanted to know about people and how they were doing.  Jerry had a passion for farming and loved working on the farm for Charlie Harrell who he helped for over 25 years.  Sewing wheat or plowing was a joy to him.  He will always be remembered as a helping hand, shoulder to lean on or just a listening ear.  Jerry’s heart was as big as his smile.

Jerry leaves behind his children, Crystal and Joe Goggin of Moore, Oklahoma, Jacob David of Frederick, Oklahoma and Cody and Rachel David of Huntsville, Texas.  His mother, Winona Wolfe of Hollis, Oklahoma. Two brothers, Garry David and Micheal Wolfe of Vernon, Texas. Three sisters, Sharon James, Terri Timmons and Lori Horton all of Hollis, Oklahoma. Three grandsons, one great grandson, his special friend Cherisa Ligon and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and of course his brothers in the Fire Department.

ROMANS 8:38-39

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
