Jan Burleson

Susan Janene "Jan" (Terry) Burleson passed peacefully at her home in Frederick, OK April 28th, 2025. She was born Oct. 19th, 1959, in Wichita Falls, TX and moved to Frederick at age 11 when her father purchased the Ford dealership. Jan helped her father at Terry Ford for most of her working career. She worked as a tag agent for a few years before working with her father again at Terry Auto Sales. Jan married her long-time rival car dealer Jeff Burleson in 2000. She was always pleased to care for her children and grandchildren and was an avid supporter of all of their school and after-school activities. Jan loved fishing, camping, and swimming during the summertime and enjoyed arts and crafts during the winter.

Jan was proceeded in death by her parents, Clyde and Charline Terry of Frederick, and her sister Darlene Carpenter of Las Vegas. Jan is survived by her husband Jeff Burleson and her children Cheyenne Clark, Michael Burleson, Brent and wife Marisa Burleson, Josh and wife Courtney Burleson, all of Frederick and Quinton and wife Brandy Clark of Purcell, Ok. Jan is also survived by her grandchildren Bri Clark, Baley Dunaway, Azlee Clark, Kaelynn Torres, Alina Burleson, Max Burleson, Brently Burleson, Chyson Clark, Kynzleigh Burleson, Kaydence Burleson, Beau Burleson, Berlynn Burleson, and Denver Burleson and her great-grandchild Loralynn Dunaway.
