Filiberto "Lucas" Gallardo Collazo

            Visitation for Filiberto “Lucas” Gallardo Collazo, age 63, of Tipton, will be held Saturday and Sunday, August 21-22, at Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home in Frederick.

            Mr. Gallardo Collazo passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at a Lawton, Oklahoma, hospital.

            Burial will be in Los Azolitos, Jalisco, Mexico. Local arrangements are under the direction of Orr Gray Gish & Tipton Funeral Homes.

            He was born March 7, 1958, at Los Azulitos, Jalisco, Mexico, to Francisco Gallardo Colunga and Maria del Refugio Collazo Moreno. He came to the United States at the age of 18 and settled in Tipton, where he lived until his death. He began working as a farm laborer, primarily hauling hay for the Partida family and then others. His love was for his family.

            He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother: Roberto Gallardo Collazo; and a sister: Maria de Jesus Gallardo Collazo.

            Survivors include three brothers and their children: Manuel Gallardo Collazo and wife Estela Reyna (Miguel Gallardo Reyna, Maleni Gallardo Reyna, Julissa Gallardo Reyna); Carlos Gallardo Collazo and wife Maricela Munoz (Carlos Gallardo Munoz, Adrian Gallardo Munoz, Denise Gallardo Munoz) Eulalio Gallardo Collazo and wife Maria Guadalupe Padilla (Eduardo Gallardo Padilla, Alan Gallardo Padilla; a sister: Maria Guadalupe Gallardo Collazo and husband Manuel Hernandez (Ramiro Padilla Gallardo, Oscar Padilla Gallardo); Robert, deceased brother’s wife and children: Angelica Ortiz (J. Roberto Gallardo Ortiz, Victor Gallardo Ortiz, Alejandro Gallardo Ortiz, Maria del Refugio Gallardo Ortiz); and numerous  nieces, nephews and friends.
