Elsie M Hilburn

               Funeral service for Elsie M. Hilburn, age 102, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the Assembly of God Church with Rev. Les Banks  officiating.

            Mrs. Hilburn passed away, Friday, July 7, 2023, at a Seminole, Oklahoma, care center.

            Visitation will be held Monday evening, July 10, at the funeral home.

            Burial will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home.

            She was born August 6, 1920, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to Joseph Edward and Nellie Jane Wilson Kyser. She attended Wilson School. She was united in marriage to Elmer Hilburn on September 16, 1938. He preceded her in death on March 29, 1991. She loved the Lord and was an active member of the Frederick Assembly of God Church.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Delores Ann Hilburn Landrum, and Betty June Hilburn Vaughan; two sons: Elmer Dewayne Hilburn, and Robert Joedean Hilburn; two brothers: Matt Kyser, and Roy Kyser; and three sisters: Mary Lou Pendleton, Gwendyln Gene Wallis, and Estelle Lavon Miller.

            Survivors include two daughters: Wanda Sue Parker and husband Eugene, of Checotah, Oklahoma; and Sara Beth Scheller and husband Jerry, of Seminole, Oklahoma; a son: Bobby Ray Hilburn and wife Natalie, of Frederick, Oklahoma;  daughter-in-law: Carolyn Hilburn; 15 grandchildren:  Debbie Miner (Checotah, OK),  Montica Ballard (Checotah, OK), Steven Hilburn (Shirley, AR), Gina Latta (Purdon, TX), Johnny Parker (Mineola, TX), Allan Parker (Melissa, TX), Michelle Lonsdale (Claremore, OK), Belinda Stevens (Frederick, OK), Curtis  Vaughan (Wichita Falls, TX), Kelly Fulbright (Frederick, OK), Joe Hilburn (Frederick, OK), Lisa Jones (Lexington, OK), Heather Canfield (Seminole, OK), Gregory Hilburn (Frederick, OK), and Richard Harrison (Vernon, TX); 34 great grandchildren, and 33 great great grandchildren.

               The family would like to thank all the family/friends for their help with Mom during her illness.
