Edward “Allen” King, Jr. (aka Thumper), age 45, of Frederick, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022, in an Oklahoma City hospital.
A memorial service at Lake Frederick will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022. An inurnment will also follow at a later time at Eckert Cemetery, in Eckert, Colorado.
He was born February 28, 1977, in Delta Colorado. He was raised by his parents: Dennis and Charlotte (King) Gladney. He attended school in Delta, Colorado, Walla Walla, Washington, and Frederick. He worked as a computer tech at a computer company and then at a bank. He also worked as a prison guard.
He was preceded in death by his biological father: Edward Allen Gladney; a brother: Matthew Galyean; maternal grandparents: Raymond Rife King, Margaret Ruth Forrest, and Marie King; and paternal grandparents: Cooper Armstrong, and Ruth Ada Gladney.
Survivors include his mother: Charlotte Mae King, of Frederick; his dad Dennie Lee Gladney (Aubrey); sisters: Lorie White (Donald), Frederick, Brenda Marks, Walla Walla, Washington, Krystal Daniels, Montrose, Colorado, Meeka Gaylean, Ulm, Montana, and Luna Gaylean, of Frederick; brothers: Chad Lee Porter (Brandy), John Purdy, of Virginia, and Emory Washburn, of Tulsa; nephew: Dusten White and Donald Allen White; and a great niece: Gracelyn.
