            Memorial service for Dora J. Jones, age 82, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2021, at the Orr Gray Chapel with Mike Haverland, minister of the Frederick Church of Christ, officiating.

            Mrs. Jones passed away Thursday, April 08, 2021, at the Hospice of Wichita Falls. 

            Inurnment will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home.

            She was born February 12, 1939, in Grandfield, Oklahoma, to Harold and Elsie (Barfield) Stevens. She grew up living in Grandfield and Hollister and graduated from Hollister High School. She was united in marriage to Darwin Ray “Doc” Jones on October 11, 1958. She worked as the Director of Cosmetology for Aladdin Beauty College in Altus and Lawton. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

            In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by a daughter: Darla Raylene Jones; three brothers: Roy Stevens, Howard Stevens and Jimmy Stevens; and two sisters: Bertha McKee and Daisy McKee.

            Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her husband: Doc, of the home in Frederick; son: Dustin Ray Jones and wife Rosalia, of Frederick; daughter: Dana Renee Brown and husband Neil, of Edmond; brother: Jerry Stevens; two sisters: Rose Ann Rector, of Moore, and Linda Wilson, of Miami, Oklahoma; three grandchildren: Brooke Fuser and husband Colby, of Cairo, Egypt, Jaci Russell and husband Joe Van, of Frederick, and Candice Sheffield and husband Kenny, of Wichita Falls, Texas; and nine great grandchildren: Ryder, Aspen, Boston, Adison, Asher, Rayce, Rylan, Ryver and Calais.

            Memorial contributions may be sent to the Frederick Church of Christ, 1300 N. 13^th Street, Frederick, OK 73542, in loving memory of Dora Jones.
