Bertha Cuellar

Bertha Cuellar went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 27, 2026. She passed away in Lawton, Oklahoma, at the age of 71.

Bertha grew up loving music, especially oldies and she loved and enjoyed dancing as well.  She loved to go fishing and cooking out while on her fishing trips with her family.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family; children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved and enjoyed cooking and baking for them especially on the holidays and on special occasions.  She did a lot of sewing and enjoyed doing arts and crafts, especially when it was time to make the school mums for homecoming.  She will be greatly missed by all who loved her and shared special moments with her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fermin and Olivia Perez, a brother Guadalupe Hinojosa Jr., 2 sons Tomas Walkingstick & Pete Lopez Jr. 3 grandsons, Gilbert Pesina Jr., Tommy Walkingstick, and Rashad Stanford Jr.

She is survived by her husband Freddy Cuellar, 3 daughters; Olivia McDowell, Angelica Wray/Joseph, Antonia Perry/Clarence, and Priscilla Cantu/Rashad Stanford.  2 sons; Arcadio Lopez, and Lucas Cantu/Olga Bazan. 2 sisters; Cruz Gonzales, and Dora Barr/Gabriel.  6 granddaughters; Victoria M. Lopez, Shanna Walkingstick, Keyanna Wray, Angelica Wray, Destiny Hicks, and Alexcia Stanford.  13 grandsons; Drake, Joshua Walkingstick, Gabriel Pesina/Jessica, Alexander Pesina/Mytecia, Ramiro Wray, Pedro A. Lopez, Adrian A. Lopez, Christopher A. Lopez, Isaac Morales, Norman Morales Jr., Johnny Perry, and Rashad Stanford III.  11 great granddaughters: Sequoia King, Ophelia Pesina, Audrey Pesina, Livi Larett Pesina, Julianna Pesina, Ruth Pesina, Rayden Pesina, Riah Pesina, Carmelinda Gonzales, Camille Gonzales, and Maya Hicks.  5 great grandsons; Kristian Walkingstick, James King, Gilbert Pesina III, Martin Gonzales, and Miguel Hernandez.
