Antonio "Tony" Gutierrez

            Memorial service for Antonio “Tony” Gutierrez, Jr., age 58, of Lawton, formerly of Frederick, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2020, at the Orr Gray Gish Chapel with Chaplain Steve Gillispie, ELARA Caring Hospice, officiating.

            Mr. Gutierrez passed away Friday, January 31, 2020, at his home in Lawton.

            Tony was born January 23, 1962, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to Antonio Gutierrez, Sr. and Pauline DeLeon. He grew up in Victoria, Texas. He worked as a carpenter in various types of construction and also lived in Waco, Texas, Garden City, Kansas, Weatherford, Oklahoma, Frederick, Oklahoma, and Lawton. He enjoyed fishing, loved watching football and had a passion to do mechanic work as well.

            He was preceded in death by his mother; two brothers: Tommy Ray Gutierrez and Adolfo Gutierrez; and a sister: Virginia Pena.

            Survivors include his wife: Rebecca Nuncio, of the home; his father: Antonio Gutierrez, Sr., of Snyder; four sons: Gilbert Nuncio, Frederick, Paul “Fred” Gutierrez, of Frederick, Anselmo “Barney” Gutierrez, of McAlister, and David Ray Gutierrez, also of McAlister; brothers: Steven Rivera and Israel Rivera, both of Wichita Falls; two sisters: Louisa Gutierrez, and Mary Gutierrez, both of Waco; three aunts: Aurora Gutierrez, Mary Helen Gonzalez and Eulalia Garza; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
