Alex Adrian Castaneda

Funeral mass for Alex Adrian "Lou" Castaneda, age 32, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2025, at Saint Helen Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Joseph David, pastor, officiating.

Alex passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025, in Frederick, Oklahoma. Burial will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home.

Rosary and visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at the funeral home.

He was born December 21, 1992, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to Juan and Josephine (Zuniga) Castaneda. He attended Frederick schools. He had worked at Henniges Automotive.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Emma Zuniga; paternal grandfather: Armando Castaneda; an aunt: Loretta Gaytan; and two cousins: Robert Ibarra and Jake Zuniga.

Survivors include his parents: Juan and Josephine Castaneda, of Frederick; four brothers and their children: Joel Castaneda, of Watonga, Oklahoma, and his children, Angel, Steven, and Uriel; Michael Castaneda and his wife Kerri, of Oklahoma City, and their children, Xavier, Gabriyel, and Michael; Steven Castaneda, of Frederick, and daughter, Jadence;  Andrew Castaneda and his wife Hannah, of Frederick, and their children,  Madelyn, Mianna, Kaelani and Aunnah; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. *He loved and cherished each and every member of his family.
