Jerry Wayne Calvin

Jerry Calvin Funeral service for Jerry Calvin, age 53, of Frederick, Oklahoma, was held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2008, at the Gray Gish Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Eddie Whitworth, officiating. Mr. Calvin died Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital, in Altus, Oklahoma. Burial was in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gray Gish Funeral Home. Jerry was born on April 24, 1955, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to Frank and Ruby (Eslick) Calvin. He attended schools in Frederick. He lived in Tillman County most all of his life. He loved to play the guitar. He had special heart and loved to help people. He loved his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter: C.J. Calvin; a brother: Steve Calvin and two sisters: Emma Lauer and Betty Calvin. He is survived by his very special friend: JoAnna Oldham, of Frederick, Oklahoma; a son: David Fountain, of Apache, Oklahoma and his mother: Tonya Fountain Calvin; three brothers: Charles Calvin and wife Koleta; Harold Calvin and wife Jeanie, all of Manitou, Oklahoma; and Orville Pebeashy, of Frederick, Oklahoma; two sisters: Darlene Duncan, of Davidson, Oklahoma and Debra Wolfe and husband Steve, of Pratt, Kansas; two granddaughters and one grandson; numerous nieces and nephews.
