Funeral service for Manuel Reyes Delgado, age 73, of Frederick, Oklahoma, was at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at the Gray Gish Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Enos Flores, pastor, Primera Iglesia Bautista, officiating, . Mr. Delgado passed away Friday, March 07, 2008, at his home. Burial was at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gray Gish Funeral Home. He was born on December 28, 1934, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to Alfanso and Maria (Reyes) Delgado. He attended schools in Frederick. He married Janie Gonzalez on March 14, 1958, in Frederick, Oklahoma. He worked as a farmer until his retirement in 1995. He attended Primera Iglesia Bautista in Frederick. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Pete Delgado, sister: Josie Rivera and son: Jimmy Delgado He is survived by a son: Brandon LaFerr; four daughters: Tammy Rivas and husband Ruben, of Wichita Falls, Texas; Katie Miller and husband Joe, of Tucson, Arizona; Sandy Hobbs and husband Billy, of Mead, Oklahoma and Stefanie Delgado, of Frederick, Oklahoma; two brothers: David Delgado, of Dewer, Oklahoma and Joe Delgado and wife Lupe, of Menden, Nebraska; three sisters: Sara Gonzales and husband John, of Frederick, Oklahoma; Blasson Flores and husband Ben, of Vernon, Texas, and Mary Lawson and husband Jerry, of Ouroa, Nebraska; a sister in law: Anita Delgado, of Frederick, Oklahoma; special friends: Tara & Linda Stutzma, 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
