Emma Lopez Graveside service for Emma Lee Lopez, age 78, of Frederick, Oklahoma, was at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 1, 2008, in the Walters Cemetery, Walters, Oklahoma. Mrs. Lopez passed away Thursday, July 24, 2008, at her home. Inurnment was under the direction of Gray Gish Funeral Home, Frederick, Oklahoma. Emma was born on September 4, 1929, in Temple, Oklahoma, to George and Nora (Davis) Brownlee. She married George S. Lopez on February 22, 1969, in Walters, Oklahoma. She worked as a home health provider for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George, on July 24, 2007; four sisters: Lona Greer, Irene Ivester, Velma Langford and Myrtle Dunbar and a brother: Buddy Myrl Brownlee. She is survived by a brother: J.W. Brownlee, of Cheyenne, Wyoming; two sisters: Elizabeth Landrum, of Walters, Oklahoma and Ruby Salmon, of Tucson, Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews, including nephew: Douglas Grubbs and wife Rosie, of Sulphur, Oklahoma.
