Buster Bill Hutton Funeral service for Buster Bill Hutton, age 83, of Frederick, Oklahoma, was at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at the Burkhardt Chapel of the Frederick Memorial Cemetery with Rev. John Horton, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Mr. Hutton passed away Saturday, October 4, 2008, at a Purcell nursing care center. Burial was in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gray Gish Funeral Home. He was born on July 4, 1925, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to David Coy and Grace (Dickerson) Hutton. He lived in the Frederick and Davidson area most all of his life. He attended and graduated from Wilson School in 1943. He entered the United States Navy in 1943. He served during WWII and received the Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, and Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal. He was honorably discharged on January 16, 1946, as a Motor Machinist's Mate Second Class (T) SV6. He married Julia Lavonne Young on September 12, 1947, in Tipton, Oklahoma. He worked in telecommunications for GTE and Verizon, for over 45 years before retiring in 1990. He was a member of First Baptist Church, of Frederick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Julia Lavonne Hutton, on October 5, 1983; one brother: James David Hutton. He is survived by one daughter: Deborah Hutton Ellison, of Arlington, Texas; a grandson: Michael Blake Ellison; a sister: Eva of Big Spring, Texas.
