Graveside service for Barbara (Fox) Edwards, age 75, of Amarillo, Texas, former resident of Tipton, OK, was held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at the Tipton Municipal Cemetery with Reverend Tony Fox, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Edwards died Sunday, November 30, 2008, at her home in Amarillo, Texas. Burial was in the Tipton Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Tipton Funeral Home, Tipton, Oklahoma. She was born July 8, 1933, to Bill and Louise (Broom) Fox. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edwards; two brothers: Jerry Fox and Louis Fox; and one sister: Viola Fox. She is survived by one daughter: Carolyn Clayton; of Amarillo, Texas; one grandson: Bobby Clayton of Amarillo, Texas; three brothers: Arthur Fox and wife Shirley, of Tipton, Oklahoma, James Fox and wife Janie, of Temple, Oklahoma, and Buddy Fox and wife Judy, of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters: Joyce McNabb and husband Brent, of Hurst, Texas and Mary Ashcroft and husband Eddie, of Boyd, Texas; one aunt: Jessie Panek and husband Al, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
