Mary Imogene McBride

Funeral service for Mary Imogene "Jeanie" McBride, age 75, of Frederick, Oklahoma, was at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2009, at the Gray Gish Funeral Home Chapel, Frederick, Oklahoma, with Rev. Tom Peevyhouse, pastor, Trinity Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. McBride passed away Monday, January 5, 2009, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Burial was in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gray Gish Funeral Home. She was born on March 8, 1933, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to James Carroll and Nora May (Davis) Barnard. She attended Emerson Grade School and Frederick High School. She married Elva "Leroy" McBride on July 30, 1949, in Frederick, Oklahoma. She worked at Kelly's Outlet as a clerk and as a seamstress at Frybrant's, where she worked until her retirement. She loved being with her family and enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners. She was a lifelong resident of Frederick and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leroy McBride, on July 27, 1998; a son: Danny Leon McBride, on January 11, 2001; four brothers: J.C. "Jake" Barnard, Dan Durward Barnard, James Laud Barnard and Wendall "Leon" Barnard; a sister: Thelma Albert; a son in law: Robert Stultz and great grandchild: Brianna Nicole Baza. She is survived by two sons: Ronnie Leroy McBride and wife, Cormedia, and Mike McBride and wife, Tina, all of Frederick, Oklahoma; two daughters: Patsy Jean Stultz, of Frederick, Oklahoma and Tammy Sue Sevilla and husband, Fernando, of Lawton, Oklahoma; a daughter in law: Juanita McBride; 19 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
