Bernadean Fulton Funeral service for Ethel Bernadean Fulton, age 87, of Frederick, Oklahoma, was held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at the Gray Gish Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Whitworth, Living Water Ministries, officiating. Mrs. Fulton passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Burial was in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gray Gish Funeral Home. She was born October 23, 1921, in Frederick, Oklahoma, the fourth and youngest child, in the family home on North Ninth Street, to George Albert and Nannie T. (Wright) Wilson. She was educated in the Frederick Public Schools and graduated from Frederick High School in 1938. She married Milton Blair Jones and from this union three children were born: Milton Dean Jones, Mary Ann Jones and Johnnie Clifton Jones. She was later married to George L. Riggs for many years. In 1977, she was united in marriage to James Norris Fulton. She worked as an operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone. She worked for First National Bank, and managed Montgomery Ward in Frederick. She worked at Century Granite Monument in Frederick and also was the office manager for many years at the Tillman County Farm Bureau, until her retirement. She was a long time active member of the First Baptist Church in Frederick. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sons: Johnnie Clifton Jones, in 1999, and Milton Dean Jones in 2007; her husband James Norris Fulton in 1993; brother: James Douglas Wilson; and sisters: Mary Alma Ballard and Betty Irene Goodman. She is survived by her daughter: Mary Ann Nickens, Oklahoma City, OK; four grandchildren: Deannie Neugebauer, Mike Neugebauer and wife Jeanne, John David Jones and Jerry Ray Jones; two great grandchildren: Derrick Wertz and Lindsey Wertz; one niece and four nephews.
