Theresa Arlene Livingston

Funeral service for Theresa Livingston, age 86, of Frederick, Oklahoma, was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009, at the Gray Gish Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. John Horton, pastor, First Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Livingston passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009, in a Lawton, Oklahoma, hospital. Burial was in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery, Frederick, Oklahoma, under the direction of Gray Gish Funeral Home. She was born on June 29, 1922, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to Claude Almer and Rose Ethel (Yoder) Roberts. She attended schools in Frederick, where she graduated high school. She received an Associate of Arts degree from Cameron College and was an Accredited Records Technician. Theresa married the love of her life, Alton Livingston, on October 26, 1991. They spent 17 happy years together. She often said Alton is the best man she has ever known. She retired from Tillman County Memorial Hospital after many years of service. She was an avid bridge and domino player and loved playing canasta with Alton, children and grandchildren. Theresa belonged to Eastern Star, loved to travel and was an excellent cook and baker. She never met a stranger and always set a place at the table for everyone. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Earl A. Roberts, C.A. Roberts and Bruce Roberts. She is survived by her husband, Alton Livingston, of the home; three sons: Dale Dugan, Dean Dugan, Don Dugan; one daughter: Debra Dugan Nicholas; eight grandchildren: Dale Dugan Jr., Darla Dugan Woodruff and husband Chris, Branden Ballard, Trenton Ballard, Keaton Dugan, Amber Nicholas Hahn, Erin Nicholas, and Jonathan Nicholas, two great-grandchildren: Christopher Dugan and Tristan Hickman; two step children: Melissa Livingston and husband Joe Goggans, and Jamie Livingston and wife, Lyn, and their children Lee Livingston and Ann Hynecek and husband Bryan; and many extended family and friends.
