Funeral services for Raymond Bernal, Sr., age 67 of Frederick, Oklahoma, was held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2009 at the Orr Gray Gish Chapel with Rev. Roy Newman, pastor of Community Fellowship Church officiating. Mr. Bernal passed away Monday, December 28, 2009, at his home in Frederick, Oklahoma. Burial was in the Davidson Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home. He was born July 8, 1942 to Felipe and Francis (Rodriquez) Bernal in Ennis, Texas. He married Rafaela Laguna Bernal in 1961 in Burkburnett Texas. He was a member of the Community Fellowship Church of Frederick. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. He is survived by his stepmother: Lorenza Bernal, of Mangum, Oklahoma; four sons: Raymond Bernal, Jr., of Mangum, Oklahoma; Richard Roy Bernal, of Davidson Oklahoma; Robert Royce Bernal, of McAlester, Oklahoma; and Christopher Bernal, of Frederick, Oklahoma; three daughters: Rosa Aguilera, and Christine Gonzales, both of Frederick, Oklahoma; and Rebecca Dominguez, of Lawton, Oklahoma; four brothers: Fred Bernal, of Mangum, Oklahoma; Charlie Bernal, of Mangum, Oklahoma; Felipe Bernal, of Louisiana; and Tony Bernal, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four sisters: Lorenza Bernal, of Mangum,Oklahoma, Phyllis Bernal, of Ponca City, Oklahoma; Irene Rosales, of Mangum, Oklahoma; and Francis Bernal, of Louisiana;12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
