Bonnie Brooks

Memorial graveside service for Bonnie (Gober) Brooks, age 71, of Chattanooga, Oklahoma, was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 4, 2009, at the Chattanooga Cemetery with Rev. Vivian Garza, officiating. Mrs. Brooks died Monday, February 1, 2009, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home, Frederick, Oklahoma. She was born September 2, 1938, in San Pedro, California. She attended school in California and married Max Brooks on January 20, 1956, in Sonoma, California. They lived in Phoenix, Arizona from 1959 to 1969. They then moved back to Southwest Oklahoma, Chattanooga, after her husband's Naval military service. She was an avid animal lover of all kinds. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Max, on May 25, 2004. She is survived by two sons: David and Tim Brooks, both of Chattanooga, Oklahoma; three grandchildren: Angie, Amber and David Jr.; and one great grandchild: Gage Lewis.
