Flavia Gonzalez went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 15, 2010, at the age of 70 years, 4 months, and 10 days. Mrs. Gonzalez passed away Monday, February 15, 2010, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Burial was in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home. She was born on October 5, 1939 to Luis Castaneda and Francisca Montelongo in Purisima, Mexico. She married Macario Gonzalez on May 18, 1967 in San Carlos, Mexico. They moved to Frederick in 1990. She was a homemaker who loved to quilt and crochet. She was also a wonderful cook and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son: Hugo Gonzalez; two sisters: Ester Cuellar and Refugio Villarreal, and two brothers: Julio Castaneda and Ruben Castaneda. She is survived by her husband: Macario Gonzalez of the home; one son and daughter-in-law: Joseph Michael Gonzalez and Tamra Lea, of Norman, Oklahoma; one daughter and son-in-law: Maria Celia Marston and James Robert, of Lawton, Oklahoma; one brother and sister-in-law: Ismael Castaneda and Amalia, of Sonora, Texas; four grandchildren: Ashton Michael Marston, Hugh Michael Gonzalez, Justin Keith Gonzalez and Ashley Nicole Gonzalez; and two great-grandchildren: Hayleigh Marie Gonzalez and Eli Michael Gonzalez.
