Funeral service for Jonnie "Janet" Stuckey, age 71, of Chattanooga, Oklahoma, was held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at the Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home Chapel, Frederick, Oklahoma, with Rev. John F. Saville, pastor, Community Presbyterian Church, Chattanooga, Oklahoma, and Bart Schrick, officiating. The family will received friends on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Stuckey passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010, in a Lawton, Oklahoma hospital. Burial was in the Chattanooga Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home. She was born on September 7, 1938 to Johnie Schroeder and Clara (Eberle) Schroeder in Frederick, Oklahoma. She grew up on the family farm northwest of Frederick. She attended Weaver School where she graduated in 1956. She attended Cameron University where she was named Basketball Homecoming Queen. She married Joe Lewis Stuckey April 4, 1958 at the Frederick United Methodist Church. She had worked for 3rd Opinion for over ten years. She had lived in Chattanooga most all of her life. She supported and attended most all of the school activities. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Kaygen and Gracen were the light of her life. She loved to work in her garden and yard and raise beautiful flowers. She was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandchild and a nephew: Robert Deadmond. She is survived by two daughters: Phyllis Hill, and her husband, Nick, of Burkburnett, Texas and Penny Crow, and her husband, Rob, of Chattanooga, Oklahoma; one brother: Don Ray Schroeder, and his wife, Emerita, of Ardmore, Oklahoma; one sister: Barbara Tucker, and her husband, Bill, of Frederick, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren: Marlana Hill; Jami Wolfe, and her husband, Brad; Joni Ridley, and her husband, Billy; Coby and Curtis Hill; Clancy Crow and Cacy Crow, and his wife, Ashley; four great grandchildren: Kaygen, Journey, Alana and Gracen; numerous nieces and nephews including a special nephew: Shad Stuckey, and his wife, Patti; mother-in-law, Nita "Granny" Stuckey; and special friends: Teeny Kinder, Pauline Watts , Shirley Dreith and Tara Booker.
