She was born November 19, 1930, at Mt. View, Oklahoma, to Clarence Raymond and Mary Oletha (Mitchell) Condra. She moved with her family from Mt. View to Davidson, at an early age and she attended Davidson schools. She was united in marriage to John David McDowell on March 23, 1946, at Davidson, Oklahoma. In 1969, they moved from Davidson to Frederick. She worked as a seamstress for: Vernon Manufacturing, Betsy Bra, Kellwoods, Centra Leather Goods, Schlegel and Frybrant, where she worked the longest and retired from in 2000. She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. She was devoted to her family. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on March 20, 2007; and a sister: Mary Lou Condra. Survivors include: two sons: Richard McDowell, of Colbert, Oklahoma, and Randy McDowell, of Frederick, Oklahoma; four daughters: Kathy Harrington, of Frederick, Oklahoma, Brenda McDowell-Martineau, of Frederick, Oklahoma, Mary LaDonna Garza, of Cache, Oklahoma, and Rhonda McDowell, of Frederick, Oklahoma; one sister: Lois and Brian Blevins, of Springdale, Arkansas; one brother: Eldon and Barbara Condra, of Saginaw, Texas; grandchildren: Daniel McDowell, of Fort Hood, Texas, Misty Cross, of Graham, Texas, Michael McDowell, of Frederick, Oklahoma, Laura Arreguin, of Lawton, Oklahoma, Chris Martineau, of Sherman, Texas, Mari Edmonds, of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Justin Nolen, of Cache, Oklahoma; 12 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
