Lupe N. Coronado

She was born on July 12, 1924 to Onesimo and Louisa (Bazan) Nava, in Elmore City, Oklahoma. She married Gabino (Guy) Coronado on December 7, 1939, in Duncan, Oklahoma and they resided in Big Canyon, Oklahoma. They moved to Frederick in 1960. Her husband preceded her in death on November 14, 1987. She was a caregiver to the elderly and to her grandchildren. She did a lot of community service through her church by helping with the rummage sales and arts and crafts bazaars. She was also a volunteer at the Food Bank. She was a member of St. Helen's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sons: Sam, Martin and Guy Coronado; one sister: Aurora Nava; a half-brother: Gilberto Nava; her adopted parents; three adopted brothers; and one adopted sister. She is survived by one son: Raymond Coronado and his wife Mary, of Frederick, OK; one daughter: Mary Ann Ramirez; two daughters-in-law: Lois Coronado and Mary Coronado; seven adopted brothers; three adopted sisters; 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.
