Maudie Irene McCord

She was born on December 22, 1925 to Merle and Ruth (Conroy) Baker, in Powell, Ohio. She was raised and attended school in Powell, Ohio, near Columbus, Ohio. She married Tom McCord on September 17, 1984, in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. They lived in Wapanucka, Oklahoma, and Pagosa Springs, Colorado before moving to Frederick, Oklahoma in 2000. She worked as a nurse's aide at various nursing care centers over the years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister. She is survived by her husband: Tom McCord, of the home; one sister: Frances Wilcox, of Columbus, Ohio; and a host of nieces and nephews.
