Tamra Brynn James

Tamra Brynn James passed away Monday, September 5, 2011. She died at her home in Altus, Oklahoma, at the age of 22 years, three months and 16 days. She was born on May 19, 1989, to Darrell Quinn and Bonnie Jean (Reade) James, in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She moved to Frederick in 2003. She graduated Valedictorian from Frederick High School in the Class of 2007.She was involved in numerous activities including cheerleading, band, chorus, drama, and talented and gifted. She attended college at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, and then transferred to Western Oklahoma State College in Altus where she received her Associate Degree in Business in 2011. She was a lifeguard for several years at the Frederick City Pool. She worked at Wal-Mart in Altus. She is survived by her parents: Darrell and Sharon James, of Hollis, Oklahoma; her mother: Bonnie James, of Tularosa, New Mexico; her paternal grandparents: Herman and Marilyn James, of Arkansas; paternal great grandmother: Edna James, of Arkansas; maternal grandfather: Ben Reade, of New Mexico; maternal grandmother: Winona Wolfe, of Hollis, Oklahoma; three sisters: Jessica Richardson and husband Kenny, of Italy, Stephanie Roberts, of Hollis, Oklahoma, Adrienne Rogers, of Hollis, Oklahoma; one brother: Seth Rogers and wife Nichole, of Garland, Texas; one nephew: Kalen Roberts; and one niece: Kyla Roberts.
