Ann Alisa Leyja

Ann Alisa Leyja went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 14, 2012. She passed away at Midwest City, Oklahoma, at the age of 45 years, 9 months, and 18 days. She was born on May 25, 1966, to Benenico and Joe Ella (Hicks) Leyja, in Clinton, Oklahoma. She attended Frederick Schools and Jones Academy in Hartshorne, Oklahoma. She has lived most of her life in Frederick. She worked at Frederick Memorial Hospital in the housekeeping department and she provided child care for her family. She enjoyed working on embroidery at Showstring with her Mom. Her passion was cooking. She was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church. She was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her father: Benenico Leyja, of Elk City, OK; three daughters: Kristen Anaya and husband Braulio, of Moore, OK, Hailey Leyja, of Oklahoma City, and Delaney Leyja, of Frederick; three brothers: Jerry Henry and wife Lesley, of Silverdale, WA, Joe Allen Henry, of Oklahoma City, and Randell Henry, of Norman; two sisters: Mary Featheringham and husband Chip, of Houston, TX, and Cindy Burleson and husband Joe, of Frederick; six grandchildren: Juana, Ryan, Aiyana, Gilbert III, Antwone and Deeanna.
