Janelle Blain

Janelle Blain went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. She died in Frederick, Oklahoma, at the age of 77 years and 11 days. She was born May 2, 1935, in Davidson, Oklahoma, to Herbert and Velma (Renfro) Carothers. She grew up and attended Davidson schools and graduated from Davidson High School in 1953. She was united in marriage to Bobby Lee Blain on October 28, 1953, at Hugo, Oklahoma. He husband served in the United States Army, upon his honorable discharge as a medic in Germany, they lived in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was employed by Miller & Miller Motor Freight. Then, they moved to Southgate, California, and she transferred to ICX. They lived in California for many years before returning to Oklahoma and coming to Rush Springs in 1980. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband on January 2, 2009. Local survivors include her cousin: Larry McElroy and wife Mary, of Davidson, Oklahoma.
