Sharon Kay Chorn

Word has been received of the death of Sharon Chorn, age 66, of Frederick, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home. Mrs. Chorn passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012, at her home in Frederick. She was born April 11, 1946, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Travis and Martha Elizabeth (Brown) McCoy. She grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Ronald B. Chorn. He preceded her in death on June 1, 2007. They had lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, for numerous years. After her husband's death, Sharon returned to Oklahoma to be near family. She had lived in Frederick since 2008. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Travis McCoy, Jr. and Burt McCoy; and a sister: Charlene McCoy. She is survived by two sisters: Brenda Burns and husband Ray, of Frederick, Oklahoma, and Patricia Strause, of Lawton, Oklahoma; and two brothers: Jimbo McCoy and wife Karen, of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Berry Byrd, also of Frederick, Oklahoma; several aunts and uncles and numerous nieces and nephews.
