Donald Hostick

Don Hostick went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 25, 2012. He died at Lawton, Oklahoma, at the age of 80 years and 20 days. He was born December 5, 1932, at Hominy, Oklahoma, to Earl and Myrtle (Dyer) Hostick. He attended school in Carnegie until moving to Oklahoma City and graduating from Classen High School. He attended and graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts from the School of Business from the University of Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Thelma Cole on July 26, 1958, at Carnegie Oklahoma. He moved to Frederick in 1964 and operated Hostick Insurance with his brother Jerry until 1994. He was a member of the Frederick Country Club, where he made many friends and was an avid golfer. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Frederick. He is survived by wife Thelma, of the home in Frederick; two sons: Michael Hostick of Palm Springs, California, and Ronald Hostick of San Diego, California; two brothers: Jerry Hostick and wife Barbara, of Frederick, Oklahoma, and Larry Hostick and wife Denise, of Lubbock, Texas; several nieces and nephews.
