Anna Darlene Sergent

Anna "Darlene" (Galloway) Sergent went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 28, 2013. She passed away at Lawton, Oklahoma, at the age of 79 years, 10 months, and 14 days. She was born on July 14, 1933, to Paul Rollin and Anna Goldie (Christensen) Galloway, in Ellsworth, Kansas. They left Kansas during the Dust Bowl days and moved to California. She married Alfred J. Sergent on November 12, 1966, in Reno, Nevada and they lived in California until 1969, when as a military family they were transferred to Fort Sill. She made Lawton her home and raised her family. In 2008, she and her husband moved to Hollister. She loved watching game shows, working word search puzzles, and her lottery "scratchers". She enjoyed painting, crafts, gardening and her family. She was a Christian. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son: Jimmy Allen Thornton; and four brothers. She is survived by her husband: Alfred J. Sergent, of Hollister, Oklahoma; two sons: Danny Paul Bolerjack, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Terry Lee Thornton, of Oklahoma City; three daughters: Lynn Hodell and husband Hans, of New Braunfels, Texas, Kim Davis and husband Brian, of Cache, and Connie Sjolander and husband Skeet, of Hollister, Oklahoma; one sister: Goldie Ann Ross, of Marina, California; eleven grandchildren: Heather L. Casey (Jason), Jennifer L. Atchley (Clay), Haley C. Bolerjack, Danielle Bouwman (Matt), Rachel N. Pomykal (Joey), Kara M. Thornton, Tyler S. Davis (Fiance Danielle Mitchell), Cody A. Davis, Cheree N. Wayman, Callie R. Wayman, and Collin M. Sjolander; and seven great grandchildren.
