Maria Coronado

Maria Elisa "Mary" Coronado was born on August 4, 1952, to Julian and Manuela (Villa) Alonzo, in Robstown, Texas. She moved to Roosevelt at an early age and attended Roosevelt Schools. She married Raymond Coronado on December 11, 1976. She went to Aladdin Beauty School in Altus and worked as a beautician in Frederick at "The Right Place". She worked over 15 years in quality control at Schlegel and retired in 1989. She was a homemaker and took care of her grandkids. She loved arts, crafts and garage sales. She was an avid OU Sooner and Dallas Cowboy fan. She was preceded in death by her father: Julian Alonzo; an infant brother; one brother: Thomas Alonzo, one sister: Minerva Aguilar; and a brother-in-law: Thomas Shandor. She is survived by her husband: Raymond Coronado, of the home; her mother: Manuela Alonzo, of Roosevelt; two sons: Elvis Coronado and wife Kimberly, of The Netherlands, and Mark Coronado and his wife Robin, of Frederick; three brothers: Julian Alonzo, Jr., and wife Gina, of Edmond, Andy Alonzo and wife Suzie, of Corpus Christi, TX, and Gilbert Alonzo and wife Tonya, of Roosevelt; five sisters: Simona Juarez, of Atlanta, GA, Delores Price and husband Fred, of Wichita Falls, TX, Emma Shandor, of Roosevelt, Margie Jackson and husband John, of Granite, and Ruth Cardona and husband Celso, of Snyder; and four grandchildren: Zachary, Jonathan, Isabelle and Lance.
