Edith Millsap

Edith Pauline Millsap went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 16, 2014. She died in Snyder, Oklahoma, at the age of 94 years, one month and one day. She was born February 15, 1920, at Okra, Texas, to Charley K. and Daisy Lee (Maddux) Millsap. After graduating from Henderon High School in 1941, she began work for the United States Civil Service Commission at the Frederick Army Air Field in the Maintenance Section on April 16, 1943 and worked during WW II era until October 24, 1945. She later worked for Dr. Lee and his wife in Wichita Falls, Texas, as a household manager providing housekeeping as well as providing child care among other domestic duties for many years. She was a member of the 13th & Josephine Church of Christ, in Frederick. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother: Fairis Verel Millsap, on February 12, 2001; a sister: Lennie Mae Kidwell, on September 29, 1970; and her brother in law: Raymond Kidwell, on June 1, 2013.
