Thelma Jean Hostick

Thelma Jean Hostick went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 4, 2015. She passed away in Frederick, Oklahoma, at the age of 82 years, six months and 25 days. She was born December 9, 1932, in Carnegie, Oklahoma, to Floyd and Imogene (Melson) Cole. She attended school in Carnegie, and after graduating from high school, she attended cosmetology school and then worked for a period as beautician. She was united in marriage to Donald "Don" Hostick on July 26, 1958, at Carnegie Oklahoma. She and Don moved to Frederick in 1964, where they operated Hostick Insurance/Real Estate with his brother Jerry until 1994. She was a member of the Frederick Golf & Country Club, where she made many friends and was an avid bridge player and golfer. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Frederick. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister: Barbara Belase; a nephew: Donnie Belase; and her husband: Don, on December 25, 2012. She is survived by two sons: Michael Hostick of Frederick, Oklahoma, and Ronald Hostick of San Luis Obispio, California; two brothers-in-law: Jerry Hostick and wife Barbara, of Frederick, Oklahoma, and Larry Hostick and wife Denise, of Lubbock, Texas; several nieces and nephews to include: Debbie Foley and husband Phil, of Carnegie, Oklahoma, and Sandy Belase, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
