Michael W. Hostick

Michael Wayne Hostick went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 7, 2015. He passed away at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 62 years, seven months and 24 days. He was born March 13, 1953, in Whittier, California. Michael's parents moved to Frederick and owned and operated Hostick Insurance/Real Estate. He attended Frederick schools and graduated with the class of 1972. He attended Cameron University in Lawton and later received his cosmetology license. He had lived in Oklahoma City, Dallas, Palm Springs, and Los Angles as well as living and working in Hollywood, California, for 31 years. Michael returned to Frederick to care for his mother after the passing of his father. He was an accomplished pianist and played several other instruments as well. He was in a dance troop in Los Angeles and also worked as an executive assistant for many years. He was a member of the Frederick First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father: Don Hostick, December 25, 2012; and his mother: Thelma Hostick, on July 4, 2015. Survivors include his brother: Ronald "Ron" E. Hostick, San Luis Obispo, California; two uncles: Jerry Hostick and wife Barbara, Frederick, Oklahoma, and Larry Hostick and wife Denise, of Lubbock, Texas; and numerous cousins.
