Angelita Salazar

Angelita Pesina Salazar passed from this life on Monday, March 14, 2016, at Altus, Oklahoma, at the age of 65 years, five months and nine days. She was born October 5, 1950, in Lubbock, Texas, to Vicente and Petra (Nuncio) Salazar. She grew up in Big Spring, Texas and came to southwest Oklahoma in 1965. She worked as a certified nurse’s assistant. She enjoyed sewing. She was a Catholic. She was preceded in death by her mother: Petra Salinas; father: Vicente Salazar; a son: Julius Pesina; an aunt: Maria Serrano; and four uncles: Bobby Nuncio, Santos Nuncio, Braulio Nuncio and Pedro Nuncio. Survivors include five daughters: Betty Jo Ragsdale, Garland, Texas, Adelina Clonts, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Isabel Payne and husband Brian, of Frisco, Texas, Lenora Ward, Edmond, Oklahoma, and Margie Centeno and Jesus Rangel, of Altus, Oklahoma; four sons: Marcus French, Oklahoma City, Ruben French, Dallas, Texas, Victor Pesina, Jr., of Dallas, Texas, and Jonas Pesina, of Oklahoma City; numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home(580) 335-2112
