Dennis Ray Ballard

Dennis Ray Ballard passed from this life on Monday, June 27, 2016. He died at his daughter's home in Florida, at the age of 64 years. He was born September 4, 1951, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to Floice “Sugar” and L. Ernestine (Kirkpatrick) Ballard. He attended Frederick Schools and graduated from Frederick High School with the Class of 1969. He attended Altus Community College. He served honorably in the United States Navy. After returning to Frederick after his military service, he worked for Ausley Motor Freight, Western Farmers Electric and Goodyear. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Ann; and a brother: Floice Edgar Ballard. Survivors include his daughter: Denise Gilmore and husband Jeremy Gilmore; a son: Cliff Ray Ballard; a brother: Larry Ballard and wife Cheryl; grandchildren: Taylor Ballard, Kennedy Ballard, Carlee Richards, Winston Gilmore and a great granddaughter: Blaire Wambolt; aunt: Mary Hostak; uncles: Troice Ballard, Doyal Clinton Ballard and Charlie Johnson Ballard; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
