Roy Hicks

            Roy Don Hicks went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. He passed away in Lawton, Oklahoma, at the age of 56 years and 24 days. He was born September 4, 1960, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Joe Ray Hicks, Sr. and Rosabell Jean (Fobb) Hicks. He grew up in Frederick and attended Frederick schools, graduating high school with the class of 1978. He worked for the City of Frederick and then later at Schlegel Automotive as a forklift operator. Roy enjoyed spending time with family at cookouts and also loved supporting his younger brothers and nieces and nephews at sporting events. He loved the companionship of his dogs: Foxy and Roxy. He had a passion for motorcycles and loved his Harley. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Frederick.             He was preceded in death by his father in 1996, and a brother: Leon Joe Hicks in 2003.             Survivors include his mother: Rosabell Hicks, Frederick, Oklahoma; a sister: Joyce Ann Sanders and husband Randy, of Winchester, Tennessee; five brothers: Ricky Dean Hicks and wife Felicia, Joe Ray Hicks, Jr. and wife Kelly, Jerry Wayne Hicks, Gary Lynn Hicks and wife Sylvia, and Keith Alan Hicks, all of Frederick; and numerous nieces and nephews.Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home111 N. 11th StreetFrederick, OK 73542(580) 335-2112
