James Fobb

            James Nelson Fobb passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016. He died at the USPHS Indian Hospital, in Lawton, Oklahoma, at the age of 47 years, seven months and 27 days.             He was born March 21, 1969, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Hickman Fobb Jr. and Ruth Marie (Unah) Fobb. He attended Frederick Schools. He worked for the City of Frederick for 11 years. He was united in marriage to Rosaline Mary Spurlin on Valentine’s Day in 2000, at Vernon, Texas. She preceded him in death on August 21, 2012.             In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Steven Jay, Paul Brian, Daniel Wayne and Michael Freeland; sister: Rena Jane Fobb; and a nephew: Corey Dale Fobb.             Survivors include his son: Zachary Fobb, Chickasha, Oklahoma; daughter: Jacqueline Fobb, Cyril, Oklahoma; God-daughter: Connie Reyes, Missouri; brother: Allan Fobb, Wichita Falls, Texas; three sisters: Patricia Fobb, Karen Fobb, both of Frederick, Oklahoma, and Thaylia Fobb, of Davidson, Oklahoma; two grandchildren: Marissa Lee Melton and Noah Allen Shelton, of Mountain Park, Oklahoma; nieces: Jayliza Garllardo and husband Jake, Christina Fobb, of Frederick, Oklahoma, and Kimberly Fobb, Stillwater, Oklahoma; great niece: Marcela Gallardo and great nephews: Spencer Fobb and Jacon Gallardo, all of Frederick.
