Eula Mae Varenhorst             Funeral service for Eula Mae Varenhorst, age 104, of Frederick, Oklahoma, was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 26, 2017, at the Orr Gray Gish Chapel with Reverend Les Banks and The Honorable David Barnett, officiating.             Mrs. Varenhorst passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017, at Memorial Nursing Center, in Frederick. Burial was in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home.             She was born December 3, 1912, in Gainesville, Texas, to Reverend E.  T. and Annie (Broiles) Smith. She attended Weaver School, Wilson School and then moved to Ralston, Oklahoma, where she graduated from high school in 1930. Eula Mae was united in marriage to Herman L. Varenhorst on November 6, 1932, at Ralston, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on August 4, 1994. She was a homemaker and also worked at Centra Leather Goods for 14 years. She took care of many many children throughout her lifetime. She loved people. She was a member of the Best Ever Club for 12 years. She was a devoted Christian and taught Sunday School for over 40 years in Baptist churches in Davidson and Frederick. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, of Frederick.             In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother-in-law: Lorene Schulz and husband Clifford, and Lessie Smith; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Oliver Smith and wife Anna, Lucious Smith and wife Ida, and E. T. Smith, Jr. and wife Blanche; two grandchildren: Clifton Hawkins and Steven Hawkins.             Survivors include a son: Larry Varenhorst; a daughter: Janice Hawkins, both of Frederick, Oklahoma; three grandchildren: Julie Parks and husband Gary, of Frederick, Oklahoma, Chris Varenhorst, Fredericksburg, Texas, and Andrew Varenhorst; nine great grandchildren: Brittany Varenhorst, Savanha Smith, Aaron Hawkins, Jordan Hawkins, Destiny Hawkins, Carlie Hawkins, Kaylie Hart, Christian Varenhorst and Alex Varenhorst; and one great great grandchild: EmmaLee Mae Sheffield.             Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home111 N. 11th StreetFrederick, OK 73542(580) 335-2112
