Hazel Mae Harrison

            Funeral service for Hazel Mae Harrison, age 83, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018, at the Orr Gray Gish Chapel with Rev. Tim Billy, pastor of First Baptist Church, Thomas, Oklahoma, officiating.             Mrs. Harrison passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at a Lawton, Oklahoma, hospital.             Burial will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home.             She was born February 7, 1935, in Hobbs, New Mexico, to Earnest and Doshie Mae (Schrum) Taylor. She moved to Frederick at an early age and grew up in and attended Frederick schools. She was united in marriage to Melvin Thomas Harrison on April 2, 1957. He preceded her in death on December 28, 1996. She was a homemaker and also was a child care giver for many years. She loved to crochet. She was a member of the Faith Apostolic Faith Church, in Frederick.             In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son: Harlan Harrison; and two brothers: Hobart Taylor and Coy Taylor.             She is survived by three sons: Thomas Harrison and wife Connie, Wichita Falls, Texas, Robert Harrison, Frederick, Oklahoma, and Eddie Harrison and wife Lucy, of Krum, Texas; two daughters: Juanita Washburn and husband Buddy, of Hollister, Oklahoma, and Jerri Harrison, of Burkburnett, Texas; a brother: Marc Taylor and wife Judy, of San Antonio, Texas; a sister: JoAnn Paxton and husband Chuck, of Frederick, Oklahoma; 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
